The Flooded WallI cried last night, again,The Flooded Wall
continuing my lunar hobby.
I thought of dying, running,
and screaming at the pain.
But I ventured instead to a little corner in my mind.
It was dusty and stale,
crawling with emptiness.
A small memory tugged at my nerves.
I opened my eyes and remembered that I am only alone in my mind, because the world is flooded with people-- people who are still there even though they don't care.
